What some of Jude's students say about her teaching and attending her classes: |

...seriously, for those of us seeking to find our way in artistic expression, you are an exceptional influence. Somehow you combine just the right blend of enthusiastic encouragement with disciplined critique that guides people along to try to achieve their best. Your class will live long in my memory as a time of fulfilling inspiration when I felt as though I was actually making some progress - incrementally--but progress nonetheless. Thank you for that... In this class I have learned so much more than what I could have learned in high school art classes, such as words for different processes, ways to use paint and charchoal. Another thing I learned was that your drawing doesn't have to be perfect. The last thing I learned was how to make things look real. That was always one of my problems when I used to draw. This class has opened my eyes! H.S. (teen classes) |

Before this class, perspective--as far as drawing goes--meant nothing to me. Now, I can see exactly what it is. K.F. (drawing student) |

I had a fantastic time in this class. Thank you so much. I saw a great improvement from beginning to end, not just in my own work, but in the other student's as well. Sharing and critiquing our work together was a good experience and allowed others to constructively critique and pick up new ideas and methods. D.P. (open studio) |

This class has helped me learn many things about art that I never knew before. I learned that art can be messy, but beautiful. I learned that a drawing does not have to be beautiful to have meaning. There are many ways to interpret art and I learned all those various ways in this class. I learned a lot about color and perspective and I have come to really enjoy both since being in this class.
